-Obedience: Faith's Inseparable Twin

The official didn't just mentally agree with Jesus—he immediately started walking home. 

Belief produced obedience. 

James reminds us that faith without works is dead, not because works save us, but because genuine faith always produces fruit. 

Grace and faith are the root; obedience and works are the fruit. 

You cannot be a Christian and produce no fruit—it contradicts the nature of salvation. 

The fruit may look different in each believer's life, varying in type and abundance based on maturity and gifting, but it will be there. 

Examine your life today: Does your faith show itself in action? Are you obeying what God has clearly revealed in His Word? 

True faith doesn't just believe about Jesus; it follows Jesus.
