-The River That Flows Outward

Reading: Ezekiel 47:1-9

Jesus did not promise a cup of water. He did not even promise a well. He promised rivers, flowing from the innermost being of every person who believes. This is not a trickle of grace you must carefully manage or earn back after failure. It is a flood, sourced in the finished work of Christ on the cross. The rock was struck so the water could flow. And if that river is genuinely flowing in you, it will not stay contained. It will move into your marriage, your workplace, your neighborhood, and into the lives of people around you who are dying of thirst.

Reflection: Is the grace you have received staying inside of you, or is it flowing outward toward others? Where in your daily life should that river be more visible?

Practical Application:  Choose one relationship today where you will intentionally let the living water flow outward, whether through a word of encouragement, an act of service, or a conversation about the gospel.
