-The Gift We Cannot Earn

"If you knew the gift of God,"

Jesus told the woman. Not wage—gift.

Christianity isn't God trading favor for performance.

Before salvation, we were dead in our sins, walking according to the world's course, children of wrath.

But God, rich in mercy and great love, made us alive with Christ.

Salvation is entirely by grace through faith, and even that faith is God's gift.

We cannot earn it, buy it, or achieve it through religious performance.

It's simply offered. Stop trying to fill your chart with gold stars.

Stop striving to be worthy enough. You never will be.

That's precisely why Jesus came—to give freely what we could never earn.

Accept the gift today.
