-The Danger of Familiar Unbelief
Reading: John 7:1-5; Mark 6:1-6
Jesus' own brothers lived under the same roof, witnessed His perfect life daily, yet remained in unbelief.
Proximity to holy things does not produce salvation.
Perhaps you grew up in church, know Bible stories, and can quote Scripture, yet have never truly surrendered to Christ as Lord.
The brothers wanted Jesus on their terms—a political deliverer, not a suffering servant. Today, examine your heart honestly.
Do you have a relationship with Jesus, or merely familiarity with religion?
Saving faith isn't intellectual agreement that Jesus existed; it's wholehearted trust in who He is and submission to His lordship.
Don't let familiarity breed spiritual complacency.
