-The Danger of Religion Without Regeneration
Reading: Matthew 23:25-28
Jesus warned that outward religious appearances can mask inward corruption. The Pharisees kept every visible rule while harboring murderous intentions in their hearts. Religion without a transformed heart is a hollow shell.
God has never been impressed by external compliance alone. He searches the heart.
The question is not whether you attend church, give generously, or know Scripture from memory. The question is whether your heart has been genuinely changed by the grace of God.
Ask yourself today: am I pursuing the appearance of godliness, or am I pursuing God himself?
Reflection: What religious routines in your life might be substituting for genuine relationship with God?
Practical Application: Set aside time today to pray honestly, asking God to reveal any area where outward performance has replaced sincere devotion.
