- Surrendering Our Greatest Gifts

After years of barrenness, Hannah finally held the answer to her prayers—baby Samuel.

Yet she had made a vow to surrender him completely to God's service.

Imagine the sacrifice: nursing him, teaching him, loving him for just a few short years, then leaving him at the temple forever.

Hannah's devotion to God surpassed even her devotion to the gift God gave her.

This challenges our tendency to cling tightly to blessings rather than holding them with open hands.

True worship means offering back to God our most precious treasures, trusting that He knows best how to use them for His glory.

Whatever God has entrusted to you—children, talents, resources, dreams—are you willing to dedicate them fully to His purposes?

Reflection Question: What blessing are you gripping too tightly instead of surrendering to God's service?
