- Persistence in Prayer

Hannah "multiplied her praying" before the Lord, pouring out her soul with such intensity that Eli thought her drunk.
Her prayer wasn't polite or passive—it was passionate, persistent, and poured from a bitter soul seeking God's intervention.
Notice that Hannah didn't hide her pain from God; she brought her raw emotions directly to Him.
God honors persistent prayer that refuses to give up. Hannah's example teaches us that effective prayer combines honesty about our struggles with unwavering faith in God's power. She left the temple with peace before seeing the answer, trusting God's character more than her circumstances.
When you feel forgotten or afflicted, remember that God sees, God hears, and God remembers His children who cry out persistently.
Reflection Question: What burden have you stopped bringing persistently before God that needs renewed prayer?
