-Well-Attested Truth

Reading: Acts 17:22-31

Jesus honors the legal requirements He Himself authored.
Jewish law demanded two or three witnesses for validity, and Christ provides abundantly: the Father's witness through signs and wonders, direct divine affirmation, John the Baptist's public testimony, and Scripture's prophetic confirmation.

Belief in Jesus is not blind faith—it rests on well-attested facts.
Rejecting Him is not a failure of evidence but willful unbelief rooted in our fallen nature.

We act according to what we are: rebel sinners dead in trespasses.
Unless the Lord replaces our heart of stone with flesh, we will continue rejecting truth.

This reality should humble us in evangelism and drive us to dependence on God's sovereign work.

Reflection: Are you trusting God's power rather than your persuasiveness when sharing the gospel?
