-Rest in His Unceasing Work
Reading: 1 Peter 1:13-25
Reading: 1 Peter 1:13-25
Even on your day off, Christ is working—sustaining you, sanctifying you, interceding for you. We often think about serving God, but have you considered how God serves you?
Every moment, every breath is grace. Your security doesn't rest on your ability to hold on to Him, but on His promise to never let you go. "I will raise him up on the last day"—not possibly, not probably, but certainly. This isn't a license to sin; it's assurance that fuels genuine devotion.
The paralytic carried what once carried him because Christ gave him strength.
You can walk in holiness because Christ sustains you.
Rest today in the working Christ. Your salvation depends on His uninterrupted faithfulness, not your inconsistent performance.
Reflection:
What burden are you trying to carry alone?
How does knowing Christ continually works for you change your perspective today?
