-The Remedy for Sin's Poison

The Israelites lay dying from serpent bites, poisoned and powerless to save themselves. God's remedy seemed almost too simple: look at the bronze serpent and live. No ointment, no ritual—just a faith-filled glance. This foreshadowed Christ lifted on the cross. Sin's venom runs through humanity's veins, and we're as helpless as those dying Israelites. The remedy isn't a five-step program or moral detoxification—it's looking to the lifted Christ. Salvation requires a single direction: upward to Jesus. Stop staring at your wounds, your failures, your inadequacy. Fix your eyes on God's provision. The curse became the cure when Jesus bore our sin. Today, consciously redirect your gaze from self-inspection to Christ-direction. Look to the cross and live.
