I'm so excited about what's going on at THCC. Here are a few things. 1. Community Groups This is a great way to get connected to THCC in a small group Bible study. The atmosphere is laid back and there is plenty of time for questions and answers. These groups meet in homes throughout Lawrence County. 2. Anniversary and Baptism Celebration This will take place September 13th. We will celebrate what God has done over the last year at THCC. We will hear testimonies, baptize, share a meal and enjoy a time of entertainment. 3. 40 Days of Prayer After our Anniversary weekend we will enter in to a time of teaching and learning how to pray as a church. This will be an exciting time for THCC! We look forward to what God has in store over the next couple of months. If you know someone who is un-churched tell them about Thousand Hills, "we're a church for people who don't go to church!" -Pastor Nate

VBS was amazing. I love how God redeems a lost, broken, spiritually bankrupt sinner and uses them for His glory. I was blessed by the THCC family this week. A big thanks to THCC, Calvary Baptist in Macon MS, and Gracepoint Memphis TN for your ministry to kids! Bound & Freed, Pastor Nate

It was a great day at the Stockyards. I'm so amazed everytime I think about the resurrection of Jesus from the grave.I hope whoever read this little blog will live a life that says, "Jesus is alive!". I want to leave you with this quote.M..T..! -Pastor Nate "Easter says you can put truth in a grave, but it won't stay there." -Clarence W. Hall

Well it's been awhile since I've done this. So...God has greatly added to our number at THCC. In a few days we will have baptized 19 for the glory of God since September! We've launched our Community Groups and are about to add more. I'm looking forward to see what the Lord has next.Bound & Freed, Pastor Nate

So much has happened at THCC over the past six weeks. The Lord has saved six and they were baptized last week in a horse trough. It was an amazing celebration! Our Worship Gatherin' has been pretty much packed out each week and the Lord's church is really taking root in Lawrenceburg. God is doing things that we can't take credit for and I like that.-Pastor Nate "What, after all, is Apollos? And what is Paul? Only servants, through whom you came to believe—as the Lord has assigned to each his task. I planted the seed, Apollos watered it, but God made it grow. So neither he who plants nor he who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow. The man who plants and the man who waters have one purpose, and each will be rewarded according to his own labor. For we are God's fellow workers; you are God's field, God's building." -I Corinthians 3:5-9

Sunday September 7th was amazing. It was our first Worship Gatherin' and I was amazed at what God did. 120 folks gathered to sing and study God's word in an old Stockyard. Amazing. I can't even begin to cover what God did in others and myself this past week. What I can do is say that we serve an awesome God who can do more than we could ever imagine or hope for. To God be the glory. -nate

We're just a few days from launching our first Worship Gatherin'. I'm blessed to be a part of this new ministry. It has been a wonderful journey thus far. I hope you will join us Sunday and remember, "no need to dress fancy, just wear what you got!" Cheers! nate

Faith is a powerful thing. So powerful in fact that without it, it is impossible to please God. "And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him." -Hebrews 11:6 This church plant has been a faith journey like you wouldn't believe. We have seen God do some amazing things and open door after door. If we take our eyes off of Jesus and start trusting in what we can do, we will fail. Our desire as a church must be to live by faith and not sight. To trust in the One who owns a cattle on a thousand hills! His name...Jesus. -nate

I know, I know. It's been awhile since we've updated our blog. Well, it's been busy. I've (Nate) been traveling all over to let people know about our new church plant, trying to gather support and partnerships with other churches. We have been blessed everywhere we've been. I can't believe that we launch our first service in just a matter of 10 weeks or so. Pray for us and the city of Lawrenceburg. Pray that God will use THCC to grow the Kingdom of God!-nate

As I type this we're trying to get things done for the plant of THCC in September. Let me just say, there are many. I'm so excited about the things the Lord has already done to put this together. We could talk for hours about the faithfulness of God! Remember us in prayer this week. Pray that we would get all accomplished to the glory of the Lord Jesus! Stay Blessed! -nate
