-Whose Glory Are You Seeking?
Reading: John 5:41-44
Jesus declared that he did not receive glory from people but sought only the glory of the Father who sent him.
This is the defining test of any teacher, any leader, and ultimately any believer. The Pharisees loved the approval of men more than the approval of God, and it corrupted everything they did.
When our lives are oriented around our own reputation, our own platform, or our own comfort, we drift from truth. The glory of Christ must be the North Star of every decision, every word, and every ambition we carry.
Reflection: In what areas of your life are you most tempted to seek your own glory rather than God's?
Practical Application: Before a significant conversation or decision today, pause and ask: will this bring glory to Christ or to myself?
