-To Whom Shall We Go?
Reading: John 6:66-69
When the crowds left, Jesus asked the twelve, "Do you also want to go?"
Peter's response echoes through the centuries: "Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life."
Peter didn't claim to understand everything. He simply recognized there was nowhere else to turn.
When you look inside yourself, you find nothing.
When you look at the world's alternatives—philosophy, politics, religion, success—you see only darkness.
The only light is Jesus.
Following Christ is the hardest thing you'll ever do, but He never disappoints.
When His teaching challenges you, when His standards seem too high, when the cross feels too heavy, ask yourself Peter's question.
Where else would you go?
What else compares?
Cling to Christ not because it's easy, but because nothing else offers life.
Reflection:
When faith gets difficult, where do I turn? Am I willing to stay with Jesus even when I don't understand?
