-Hopeless Without Him

Reading: John 5:1-9
The paralyzed man at Bethesda had waited 38 years for healing, watching others reach the pool while he remained stuck.
Like him, we can become trapped in patterns of hopelessness—habitual sin, broken relationships, spiritual numbness.
We tell ourselves, "I have no one to help me."
But notice: Jesus didn't ask if the man could heal himself.
He asked, "Do you wish to get well?"
He asked, "Do you wish to get well?"
Our desperate need is the perfect place for God's power. We cannot move toward the fountain of grace on our own.
Total depravity doesn't mean we're as bad as possible, but as helpless as possible to remedy our condition.
Admit your paralysis today.
Acknowledge where you're stuck. That honest confession positions you for Christ's transforming touch.

What "mat" have you been lying on for too long?
Where do you need to admit your helplessness?
Where do you need to admit your helplessness?
